February 1st Reflection
As we entered class we had a bell ringer. The bell ringer was about what we think is the most important history in Black History Month. I chose Martin Luther King Speech in Washington DC. Then we started off the lesson with a poem called "The Negro Speaks of River." As we read we annotated and worked together to understand the passage. We also had a simple google form that we had to fill out to make sure we were understanding it. After the poem we seen Mr. Rease's family tree. I liked the fact that he showed us that because now I'm interested in doing a DNA test.
